Beer material tutorial

Here is the explanation of my beer texture shown here:

Add a gradient color

Luminance settings

Add a layer to the luminance channel. Copy the gradient from the color channel And add a noice layer in multiply mode.

This layer creates the bubbles, so animate it in the y direction upwards

Transparence settings

Add two layers in the transparency settings. One for the bubbles, and one for the color and foam animation.

If you want you can add some fresnel too ( just change the gradient mode to multiply)

This is the most important layer.. To create the foam add some turbulence that you can animate

Add some fresnel if you want..

Bump settings

Now add some bump for the foam

You need three layers.. One for the alpha, and two for some foam difference. An animated with small noice and one
for some slimery bumps

This is the alpha so only show the bump for the part that is outside the glass.
